Mayo Clinic’s 190,000-square-foot medical building for patients needing cancer, neurology and neurosurgical care is now open.

Named after benefactors Dorothy J. and Harry T. Mangurian Jr., the building also will house patient-centered research and clinical trials.

New premium lounge for JIA: A $1 million premium lounge is coming to  Jacksonville International Airport. ALD Corp. will develop, manage and operate the  2,726-square-foot facility with seating for 49 guests. It is expected to open in early 2019. The project was approved by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority board of directors.

Grant for Cecil Spaceport: The Jacksonville Aviation Authority board of directors accepted a $1.8 million matching grant from Space Florida to design and build a space operations control center, a payload preparation facility and a rocket motor testing facility at Cecil Spaceport
