New Mexico college students have launched their very own rocket.
Students from New Mexico Tech have been designing a new and improved rocket over the last year.
On Sunday, they had a chance to launch their Mustang 6-B Rocket at Spaceport America.
It ascended past 24,000 feet faster than the speed of sound.
